05 November 2021 HCS Staff pay their respects to our Armed Forces

We all once again unite in remembering the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces on 11th November and on the following Sunday when most Armistice Parades will take place throughout the UK.  HCS are very proud that five members of staff will be marking their respects by participating in parades in various locations.

Managing Director Paul Haigh will be taking part in the parade in Grimethorpe as he performs with the famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band whilst Team Manager Rob Browne will be taking part in the parade in the neighbouring village of South Elmsall.  As South Elmsall is the home town of Administrator Kirsty Abbotts, she will be performing the Last Post on both the 11th and during the service at the cenotaph on Sunday 14th.  This will be the 19th year in a row that she has performed the Last Post for her home town.

Two key member HCS’ service team will also be playing their part.  Simon Rotchell will be performing with the Kibworth Brass Band for their local parade and Paul Hing must be not far off making history as he performs the Last Post in St Michael & All Angels Church in Cosby village where he has performed every year for over 40 years.  Also, Paul had the huge honour of performing live to over 40,000 football fans at Leicester City Football Club’s home match last week.

HCS are incredibly proud that so many staff are in a position to share their respects in such an important time of reflection.
