HCS make mental health and wellbeing a priority

06 August 2020 HCS make mental health and wellbeing a priority

HCS are setting a new standard by recognising the importance of mental health and wellbeing and making it a priority for its staff.

Statistics show that one in four people experience a mental health issue in any given year.

With that in mind, two of our colleagues, Rob Browne and Kirsty Abbotts, have recently completed a Mental Health First Aid course.  This is a recognised qualification which teaches the skills to recognise and appropriately address mental health in the workplace.

HCS hopes to remove the stigma surrounding discussing mental health by seeing it as a critical issue and is proud to have two qualified Mental Health First Aiders in its ranks to promote the wellbeing of our much valued workforce.
